I’m a documentarian at heart. For me photography is about telling stories. Making art by capturing a moment in time at the press of a shutter never fails to excite me. I’ve learned that often the best way to capture truth is to use the poetry of images to get deeper beneath the surface of a subject. I use photoshop to enhance the magic of those fleeting moments. I’m well versed in capturing all of this under pressure due to working as a professional filmmaker for the last 20 years. I’ve made feature films and TV docs for the BBC, Channel4 and Netflix and shot commercials for Ebay, McDonalds and many other horrible companies!

I’ve since had three children. And am trying to focus on photography as it’s more of a passion and it feels less like work. Believe me I have enough to do at home now!

Please consider me as the right person to photograph your wedding or any other event that you might feel I’m suited to. I really do care a lot about taking good photos and I have fun with it too!
